Through partnerships with social service agencies, designers, manufacturers, and generous donors, we provide thoughtfully furnished living spaces for individuals and families rebuilding their lives. Each of our programs focuses on a community with unique needs, but they all share the same goal: turning empty spaces into homes.
Transitioning from Homelessness
For individuals and families moving out of homelessness, receiving the keys to a new apartment is only the first step. Many arrive with little or nothing to furnish their space. Through our Transitioning from Homelessness program, Furnishing Hope partners with social service agencies to provide essential furniture and household items that transform empty spaces into homes. From beds and sofas to kitchen supplies and linens, these furnishings help create an environment where people can rest and begin building a stable future. By providing these essentials, we help ensure that the transition into permanent housing is not just a move—but a meaningful step toward independence.
Wounded Military Program
Our Wounded Military Program honors the bravery and sacrifice of service members who have given so much for our country. Furnishing Hope works with veteran support organizations to provide comfortable, thoughtfully furnished homes for wounded and transitioning military members and their families. These homes are designed to promote healing and comfort during a critical time of recovery and reintegration. We are deeply committed to expanding this program so that more of our nation’s heroes can experience the comfort and dignity of a home that supports their path forward.
Beds for Kids
Every child deserves a safe and comfortable place to sleep. Our Beds for Kids program provides new beds to children who would otherwise be sleeping on floors or sofas. A proper bed supports not only physical health but also emotional well-being, helping children feel secure. Through this program, Furnishing Hope helps create nurturing environments where children can rest peacefully.
